open up the pattern you want to use and click edit —> define pattern, then change the opacity. click here for more detailed explanation and check out the tutorial for more tips :)

after you’ve downloaded it, open it with photoshop & drag the layers onto the picture you’re editing :)

make sure in the “numbers to extract” section, you have “continuously” checked off. if it still is not working, try this tutorial instead :)

drag the layers of the .psd to the top of all other layers of the gif like this.
