Some gif tips:

  • Make sure the width is 500px.
  • 15-20 frames is usually your best bet for a good quality gif
  • If you decide to make your gif black and white, you can have a few extra frames.
  • Along with using the black and white effect, change the levels. make the gif darker to lessen your chances of the gif being distorted when it needs to be optimized.
  • 500x280 is the usually best size.
  • For bigger gifs, (500x400 or anything bigger), use anything up to 15 frames for the best quality.
  • Use the perceptual option when you’re saving.
